I have always been interested in jewellery and fashion so making jewellery as a business felt like a natural thing for me to do.

I decided to turn my hobby into a business and Kookie Designs was borne 2 years ago. I initially starting making jewellery as a hobby after my lovely Husband bought me a kit for Christmas one year; little did he know what he had started!

Kookie Designs really complements my other business Kookie Beauty, I am a qualified Nail and Waxing technician, and I can arrange my working day to fit in around my young and busy son.

I work from a beautiful and peaceful room in my home with a fabulous view of our garden, and my treatment room across the hall offers a restful pampering experience.

I love finding new (to me) and exciting Lampwork designers, seeing their beads ignites the design juices and a new Kookie is borne. I hope to add silver clay work to my repertoire next year. It is an amazing medium. Silver in a clay form that ones dried and fired leaves you with 99.9% pure silver jewellery, watch this space for me news on that…..
